Responsibilities
Tasks
1. Guest Services & Experience
- Ensure smooth check-in/check-out procedures.
- Handle guest complaints, concerns, and special requests with professionalism.
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to online reviews or feedback when necessary.
- Train front desk team to provide warm, efficient, and personalized service.
2. Staff Supervision
- Assist the General Manager with Hiring, training, and scheduling, and supervise front desk agents, and
- night auditors
- Assist the General Manager with performance reviews and coaching sessions.
- Create and manage shift schedules to ensure proper desk coverage.
3.Operational Oversight
- Oversee day-to-day front desk procedures (reservations, room assignments, billing, etc.).
- Ensure accuracy in guest folios, deposits, and payment transactions.
- Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to manage room status and readiness.
- Ensure the lobby and front desk area are clean, organized, and welcoming.
4. Financial & Administrative
- Monitor daily revenue, occupancy, and forecasting reports.
- Ensure cash handling procedures and financial controls are followed.
- Assist with budgeting and cost control in front office operations.
- Review and correct any discrepancies in night audit reports.
5. System & Policy Management
- Maintain knowledge and use of Property Management System (PMS) and point-of-sale systems.
- Ensure staff adherence to hotel policies, safety protocols, and brand standards.
- Implement and update SOPs for front office operations.
6. Interdepartmental Coordination
- Serve as a liaison between front office and other departments (housekeeping, maintenance, F&B, etc.).
- Communicate VIP arrivals, group bookings, and special events.
- Support event coordination when needed (e.g., room blocks, guest logistics).
