TD Bank, one of North America’s leading financial institutions, is seeking an experienced Information Security Specialist to join its Technology Solutions team in Barrie, Ontario. This role focuses on managing and optimizing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ServiceNow Discovery to ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of enterprise IT assets. Compensation

$91,200 – $136,800 CAD per year

Position Overview

As an Information Security Specialist, you will maintain and enhance TD’s CMDB, ensure the accuracy of IT asset data, support enterprise asset management governance, and lead discovery and remediation processes within ServiceNow ITOM. You will also provide consultation on technology security controls, risk management, and regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and optimize the ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping processes
• Audit and reconcile CMDB data to ensure accuracy and integrity
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and remediate CMDB and Discovery issues across hybrid IT environments
• Consult on technology controls, risk assessments, and information security initiatives
• Support regulatory compliance and audit preparation for IT security functions
• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to integrate security components into enterprise architecture
• Contribute to continuous process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency within ServiceNow
• Provide guidance on emerging technology risks, trends, and IT security best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITOM (CMDB, Discovery, Service Mapping)
• Proven experience monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing CMDB and Discovery in large organizations
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, VMware) and hybrid IT infrastructure
• Strong understanding of networking, server administration, cloud infrastructure, middleware, and databases
• Knowledge of ServiceNow Common Services Data Model (CSDM) framework
• Relevant certifications (CSA, CIS in Discovery/Service Mapping) are assets
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple initiatives
