Esso Oakfield Gas Station & Carwash is hiring an experienced Gas Station Manager to oversee daily operations at our Calgary location. This role is ideal for a hands-on retail management professional with strong leadership skills and experience managing staff, inventory, and customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Direct, plan, and control daily gas station operations
• Evaluate daily performance and operational efficiency
• Manage staff schedules, assign duties, and oversee daily tasks
• Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff
• Determine staffing requirements based on operational needs
• Analyze market research and consumer trends to maximize sales
• Assess competitor activity and its impact on business performance
• Decide on merchandise and services to be offered
• Supervise office and support staff
• Ensure high standards of customer service and operational compliance

Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant management experience
• Strong leadership and organizational skills
• Excellent oral communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
