Construction Helper Responsibilities

The successful candidate will assist with daily construction site operations and material handling. Responsibilities include:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials
• Cleaning and stacking salvaged construction materials
• Removing rubble, debris, and waste from construction sites
• Filing, grinding, and sanding surfaces to be repaired
• Applying successive coats of compound and sanding seams and joints
• Cleaning and maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas

Work Environment and Conditions

• On-site work at various construction locations in Calgary
• Willingness to relocate; relocation costs covered by the employer
• Physically demanding role with repetitive tasks
• Ability to handle loads up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Work under pressure in changing site conditions

Qualifications and Experience

• English language skills required
• No degree, certificate, or diploma required
• Previous construction experience considered an asset
