Housekeeping and Cleaning Responsibilities

Primary duties include performing general housekeeping and cleaning tasks to maintain household cleanliness and organization. Responsibilities include:

• Sweeping, mopping, washing, and polishing floors
• Dusting furniture and surfaces
• Vacuuming carpets, rugs, draperies, and upholstered furniture
• Making beds and changing linens
• Stocking and organizing linen closets
• Cleaning, disinfecting, and polishing kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Emptying trash containers and removing debris
• Laundering clothing and household linens
• Mending clothing and linens when required
• Washing windows, walls, and ceilings
• Shopping for food and household supplies
• Providing basic care for household pets
• Performing light housekeeping and related domestic duties
