Construction Labourer Responsibilities

As part of our Edmonton construction team, your duties will include a wide range of general labour tasks commonly required on active construction sites:

• Loading, unloading, and transporting construction materials and tools

• Mixing, pouring, and spreading concrete, asphalt, and other construction materials

• Assisting with forming, erecting, and dismantling concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades

• Leveling and grading earth to required specifications

• Paving and raking asphalt surfaces

• Cleaning and stacking salvaged materials

• Removing rubble, debris, and waste from construction sites

• Performing routine maintenance and cleanup work

• Handling and cleaning chemical spills or other site contaminants following safety procedures

This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work safely in an active construction environment.

Education and Experience Requirements

• No degree, certificate, or diploma required

• Previous construction or general labour experience is an asset, but not mandatory
