About the Role – Amazon IT Warehouse Logistics Associate

As a Data Center Materials Associate (DCMA) working in Amazon’s Vancouver IT Warehouse, you will support corporate IT offices across Canada by managing the flow, storage, preparation, and shipment of IT equipment and assets. This role combines warehouse operations, logistics, and basic IT asset handling, making it a strong opportunity for candidates interested in technology-adjacent warehouse careers.

Amazon’s IT Warehouse team plays a critical role in enabling employee onboarding, office operations, and secure IT asset lifecycle management across the country.

Key Responsibilities

In this Amazon warehouse role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving, storing, tracking, and auditing IT assets such as laptops, peripherals, and accessories
  • Picking and staging IT equipment for configuration, deployment, and internal distribution
  • Packing and preparing shipments for Amazon offices and direct-to-customer deliveries
  • Managing inventory accuracy through audits, cycle counts, and warehouse tracking systems
  • Preparing IT assets for secure transportation in compliance with IT and InfoSec policies
  • Handling and securely destroying IT media in accordance with data protection standards
  • Processing returned IT assets through reuse, reverse logistics, or disposal workflows
  • Preparing equipment for new hires and supporting onboarding logistics for campus IT teams
  • Assisting with asset retrieval and teardown for departing employees
  • Maintaining clean, organized, and compliant warehouse and IT storage areas
  • Adapting quickly to shifting priorities and supporting multiple operational workflows

This is a hands-on warehouse job that requires physical activity, attention to detail, and the ability to follow standardized processes.

Basic Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications
  • Comfortable working 40 hours per week with overtime as required
  • Ability to stand and walk for up to 10 hours per shift
  • Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 49 lbs
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Ability to follow instructions, manage tasks, and work within ticketing or task-tracking systems
