Key Responsibilities

Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials

Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware

Prepare and estimate labour and material costs

Maintain, repair, and renovate residential and commercial structures
-
Perform carpentry work in construction, renovation, and commercial settings
-
Supervise and coordinate the work of other workers when required

Read and interpret basic plans, drawings, and specifications
-
Ensure all work meets quality standards and safety regulations
