Responsibilities

Tasks

• Supervise workers, subcontractors and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Set up machines and equipment
• Estimate costs and materials
• Recommend personnel actions
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies
• Leading/instructing individuals
• Install building components such as drywall and fixtures according to project specifications and blueprints
• Perform construction painting, caulking, and finishing tasks to ensure a polished appearance
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
• Use carpentry tools and techniques to modify or prepare materials for installation
• Conduct minor repairs or adjustments as needed during the installation process
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure project timelines are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols and procedures
