Key Responsibilities

• Operate woodworking machinery including power saws, jointers, mortisers, and shapers

• Study plans, drawings, and specifications for cabinets and wooden products

• Cut, shape, and assemble wooden parts and components

• Trim joints, fit subassemblies, and reinforce completed units

• Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, polish, or laminated plastics

• Read blueprints to determine dimensions and material requirements

• Estimate costs and materials for cabinet and woodworking projects

• Repair, restore, or restyle wooden furniture, fixtures, and related products

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience as a cabinet maker or woodworking professional

• Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

• Experience with woodworking machines and hand tools

• Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
