Masterbuilt Projects Ltd. is hiring an experienced Drywall Installer for a full-time, permanent position in Calgary, Alberta. This role is ideal for skilled tradespeople looking for stable drywall jobs with competitive hourly pay and consistent work on residential and commercial construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets on metal or wooden studs and joists
• Tape joints and embed tape using taping machines and hand tools
• Apply successive coats of joint compound and sand seams and joints
• Fill nail holes, cracks, and joints using trowels and broad knives
• Apply, level, and smooth plaster and finishing coats
• Finish corners, angles, and decorative details when required
• Mix plaster materials to proper consistency
• Clean and prepare surfaces before and after installation
• Mould and install ornamental plaster panels, cornices, and trim
• Maintain a clean and safe worksite

Job Requirements

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• 3 to less than 5 years of drywall installation experience
• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to work independently and under pressure
• Comfortable with repetitive, physically demanding tasks
• Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Work Environment

• On-site position (no remote work)
• Dusty and noisy construction environment
• Standing for extended periods
• Large workload with tight timelines
