AIO Hair is seeking a skilled and motivated Hairstylist to join our professional salon team in Calgary. This role is ideal for a certified hairstylist with hands-on experience in cutting, coloring, and styling hair, who thrives in a fast-paced salon environment and is passionate about client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze hair and scalp condition and recommend appropriate services
  • Cut, trim, taper, curl, wave, perm, and style hair based on client preferences
  • Shampoo and condition clients’ hair
  • Apply bleach, dyes, tints, rinses, frosting, and highlights
  • Apply and maintain hair extensions
  • Clean, style, and maintain wigs and hairpieces
  • Suggest hairstyles compatible with clients’ physical features and lifestyle
  • Perform basic receptionist duties when required
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and manage salon supplies

Requirements

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of relevant experience
  • Hairstylist Trade Certification
  • Proficiency in modern hair styling and coloring techniques

Hair Styling & Colouring Techniques

  • Blow drying, iron curling, roller setting
  • Hair extensions
  • Bleach, dyes/tints, frosting, streaking/highlights
