Responsibilities
Tasks
- Sweep, mop, wash floors
- Clean and tidy guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Attend to customer’s requests for extra supplies
- Make beds, change linens, and vacuum floors.
- Clean, organize and distribute laundry to storerooms
- Keep storerooms neat and have all items housekeepers may need available
- Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
- Pick up debris and empty trash containers
- Wash windows, walls and ceilings.
- Report any technical issues or maintenance needs.
- Report and store lost and found items
- Maintain the general cleanliness of the hotel and guestrooms
- May provide basic information on facilities
- May handle complaints.
