Truck Mechanic Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical issues and performing repairs on commercial truck systems to meet manufacturer specifications. Key duties include:
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
- Adjusting, repairing, or replacing parts and components of truck-trailer systems
- Testing and adjusting repaired systems according to manufacturer standards
- Performing scheduled maintenance services to ensure vehicle reliability and safety
- Estimating parts and labour costs for vehicle maintenance and repair work
Work Environment and Conditions
- On-site work only; no remote option
- Fast-paced work environment

Qualifications and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate required
- 2 to less than 3 years of relevant mechanic experience
