Golden Furniture is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations and logistics in Edmonton. This role involves supervising staff, coordinating workflow, managing inventory processes, and ensuring operational efficiency in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate operational logistics of the organization
- Plan and organize daily warehouse operations and workflows
- Coordinate activities with other departments and work units
- Prepare and submit operational and performance reports
- Ensure smooth operation of warehouse computer systems and machinery
- Resolve work-related issues and recommend productivity improvements
- Train staff on warehouse duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Coordinate, assign, and review work of warehouse staff
- Requisition and manage materials, equipment, and supplies
- Establish work schedules, procedures, and operational standards
Supervision
- Supervise 5–10 warehouse employees
Requirements
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience
- Strong organizational and leadership skills
